Hello! My name is Anna, and welcome to Our Postcard Places; a blog focussed on stories, tips and memories from my own adventures travelling the world. I love writing, and travelling alike, so this blog was born to share my stories of exploring alongside my partner, James, who I’m sure I will mention frequently! I currently work in a local museum, whilst James is working in hospitality, so food and culture are always big elements to all of our trips! When we aren’t working, we are always planning for our next adventure.

We are both graduates of creative degrees, and are passionate about experiencing everything the world has to offer. Our most recent trip was a weekend away in Lisbon, Portugal – a first-time-visit for us both, and definitely a place we will be returning to! We have been lucky enough to travel across the globe, including within the UK, Europe, America and Asia, with many more places to tick off our bucket list.

I would love this blog to act as not only a visual and written diary for us, but as a way to share our experiences with others. We would love for our little adventures, with their many highs and hopefully not so many lows, to assist others when booking your own trips; may they be just down the road, or across the continents.
